The Broken Road

6/4/05: Married!
12/05: Stop BCP
6/06: Officially TTC
10/07: Original BW and SA - normal
3/08: Consult with OBGYN, painful AF's.
5/08: LAP to remove cysts. Dx: stage IV endo.
8/08: HSG performed, all clear.
11/08: RE #1. Wants to start with Clomid and IUI. IUI Canceled due to cysts. BCP instead
12/08: 2nd IUI attempt. Canceled, FSH too high, 31.7. Dx Diminished Ovarian Reserve. RE says less than 1% chance of conceiving, even with IVF. Suggests donor egg.
1/09 - 8/09: spend months in depression and grief. Research high FSH. find that many women successful with IVF and natural conception. All hope is not lost!
8/09: RE #2 willing to cycle us. PRAISE GOD! BCP for one month b/c of cyst. On the road to IVF #1.
10/09: IVF #1. Get through stims. canceled, only 1 follicle. IUI instead.
12/09: IVF #2. Two follies, 1 egg, 1 embryo transferred. BFN. 1 embryo in heaven.
4/10: attend our first adoption meeting. Not encouraging.
5/10: Consult with RE #3 due to our move. Discourages us from trying IVF again.
